At Nimble Woods Farm we offer Western riding lessons for all ages. We teach lessons Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only. Closed Sunday and Monday. We do require a deposit which guarantees your lesson time and is fully refundable provided we are given 24 hours notice for canceling a lesson time. Nimble Woods Farm teaches all levels of riding. All riders will be required to sign a liability waiver at their first lesson

All lessons are for one hour (except for Half Hour Private) and include tacking and untacking your horse.

Payments can be made by cash, check, venmo or zelle; credit cards not currently accepted.

We start teaching at the age of 5. DUE TO THE SIZE OF OUR HORSES RIDER WEIGHT LIMIT IS 185LBS.

We ask students to wear hard-soled shoes, or preferably boots, and long pants. Helmets required and will be provided if needed (ASTM and SEI certified helmets only).

We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. If notice is not given, your deposit will be used to cover the missed lesson and you will be required to put down a new deposit to hold your lesson spot at the following lesson.

We understand that the weather in South Carolina can be spontaneous. In case of inclement weather, lessons will be held inside the barn and out of the saddle for students to learn groundwork and horse care. All lessons are rain or shine.
